Executive Director
Simon Rahmann is the Executive Director at Mondia, with over two decades of experience in the digital and mobile payment industries. Simon has been instrumental in leading Mondia’s payment solutions since its inception in 2020, guiding the company through its growth and expansion into a global leader in digital payments and mobile financial services. His entrepreneurial spirit and deep understanding of the Middle East market have been key to the company’s success.
In addition to his role at Mondia, Simon has held several senior positions, including Director roles at Getmo Arabia and Quadrem Middle East, showcasing his extensive expertise in digital experiences, SaaS, and e-commerce.

Liz Mohn represents the fifth generation of the Bertelsmann family, playing a pivotal role as a key shareholder. She has significantly influenced Mondia through her commitment to innovation and global knowledge transfer.
As a key shareholder, she brings a deep understanding of international markets and cultural exchange, which aligns with Mondia’s mission of driving digital transformation worldwide. Liz Mohn is the founder and chairwoman of the Liz Mohn Stiftung, a foundation dedicated to fostering international understanding, leadership, and the promotion of culture, particularly music. Her work focuses on building bridges across nations and generations, aiming to contribute to a more just and peaceful world through dialogue and innovation.
Andrew Morris is the Group General Counsel at Mondia, overseeing legal affairs and ensuring regulatory compliance across all operations. With over 15 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, he has a robust background in mergers and acquisitions and regulatory compliance.
Before joining Mondia, Andrew was a Partner at Al Otaiba Banks Legal Limited, where he integrated Emirati and international legal expertise to serve clients across the MENA region. He also served as a Partner at Banks Legal Consultancy, focusing on corporate strategy and business law, and was part of Clyde & Co LLP’s Foreign Direct Investment team in Dubai, advising multinational clients on business structuring and licensing.
Andrew holds a Law degree and is known for his strategic legal advice and ability to manage complex transactions. His approach aligns legal strategy with business goals to support sustainable growth and innovation.
