An enduring relationship with Vodacom in South Africa

Several years ago, Mondia Digital was awarded the contract to provide and manage a full suite of digital content and associated services for Vodacom South Africa. Since then, the two companies have built a thriving, rapidly expanding ecosystem comprising games, music, video on demand, health services, dating platforms and more. 

The partnership has evolved as a co-creation arrangement whereby Vodacom and Mondia Digital work together on defining desired products, at which point Mondia Digital develops strategies and platforms, develops go-to-market plans, sources and ingests content, and manages and markets the resulting portal. 

The properties – PlayInc for games, MyMuze for music, and Mum&Baby for health, amongst others – are then co-owned by Mondia Digital and Vodacom 

The relationship has endured due to Mondia Digital’s ability to keep pace with innovation and customer demand, upgrading and evolving the experience to continuously improve user engagement. Mondia Digital is a major contributor in terms of planning a pipeline of development that includes new content, refreshed and upgraded user interfaces and user experiences, new features and services.
